Get in the festive mood and join us for the ultimate candle making experience at the home of Carlton St. Candles.

This workshop has been carefully curated for a small group. No large crowds here. We want to create a mindful, relaxing experience where you leave with the joy of having learnt a new craft. By the end of the workshop you will have created two candles that you can enjoy over the festive season.

Your host is Cath Adams, owner of Carlton St. Candles, who has been crafting candles for over a decade. She has learnt a thing or two along the way and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge.

Workshop includes:

• Tea, coffee or glass of sparkling wine (or non-alcoholic drink) on arrival

• Candle making workshop

• All the materials to make your very own:

  • 1 x 225g scented coconut soy wax candle in an amber glass jar with tin lid

  • 1 × 90g scented coconut soy wax candle in a gold mini tin

• Range of festive fragrances to choose from

• Opportunity for a private shop of the entire Carlton St. Candles range of jar candles, sculpted candles, and room mists (just in time for Christmas!) with a 10% discount

What to expect

These workshops focus on the basics of candle making. You will make your own bespoke candle with 100% natural coconut soy wax and a luxury fragrance (just wait until you smell what is on offer!).

What you will learn

• The steps and equipment involved in candle making

• Special techniques behind melting, mixing and pouring a candle

• Tips and tricks on how get the most out of your candle

What you need to bring:

• Comfortable clothes (nothing precious as you may get wax on it!) and shoes (we will supply you with an apron to wear during the session)

• BYO extra nibbles and any beverages you wish to enjoy

Important things to note:

• Workshop is perfect for beginners and those that are curious about the basics of candle making.

• Only 6 spaces available at each workshop so book now to avoid disappointment.

• Due to curing time you will not be able to take your candle home. Candles can either be collected from Carlton St. Candles in New Town after the workshop, or posted anywhere in Australia for a flat rate of $10.00.

• Children over the age of 12 are welcome however must be accompanied by a participating adult.

• If you need to cancel for any reason a full refund is available with 7 days notice. Bookings cancelled between 7 days and 48 hours notice will receive a 50% refund and no refund is available for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice.
